Project Lead & Lead Developer

Overview
SiyenSHOP is a campus merchandise e-commerce platform built for Bicol University. I served as Project Lead and Lead Developer for a 40-member student initiative organized into 8 teams.
I structured teams around varying skill levels, assigned roles and tasks to balance workload, managed Git workflows and merge conflicts, and acted as final technical reviewer before merges into the main codebase.
The platform was built with Laravel, Livewire, and Bootstrap, applying MVC architecture and reactive component patterns.
What I did
Concrete contributions I owned on this project:
- Led a 40-member student development initiative organized into 8 teams for campus merchandise e-commerce
- Structured teams around skill levels and talent, assigning roles to balance workload and maximize strengths
- Acted as final technical reviewer, resolving architectural and integration issues before merge
- Managed Git workflows across teams, resolving merge conflicts and pull request issues
- Translated functional requirements into modular technical tasks for distributed student teams
- Built the platform using Laravel, Livewire, and Bootstrap with MVC and reactive components
Challenges
- Aligning 8 teams of mixed skill levels on one coherent product
- Quality bar and Git stability under high contributor count
